Brown and drain meat. Add all ingredients, simmer 20 minutes.
For spicier chili add more of our seasoning.
Mexi-mac
1 lb. Ground beef.
1 sm. Bag large elbow macaroni.
1 14-½ oz. Can redi-cut tomatoes. (Undrained)
1 8 oz. Can tomato sauce.
1 sm. Onion, diced.
1 11 oz. Can mexicorn. (Undrained) 1 tbl. Garlic salt, (or to taste.)
2 tbl. Okie chili seasoning, (or to taste.)
1 tsp. Oregano.
1 cup grated cheese.
Cook meat and onion. Drain. Cook macaroni and drain. Add next 7
ingredients and top with cheese. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or
until cheese is melted and browning.
Southern fried chicken
1 sm. Fryer cut up.
1-cup flour.
1 egg, beaten.
1 cup can milk, added to egg.
1 tsp. Garlic salt.
1 tsp. Okie rib rub.
1 tsp. Chicken rub.
Rinse and drain chicken. Add dry seasoning to flour. Coat chicken
in flour mix, then dip in egg and milk mix. Coat in flour once more.
Brown chicken in ½ inch light cooking oil on each side until golden
brown. About 20 minuets on each side.
"okie" Joes (like a sloppy Joe
but better)
1 lb. ground beef fried crumbled and drained.
1 Tbl."okie" Chili Season or to taste
1 Tbl. dry onion flakes
Ketchup to desired consistency.
Serve on grilled bun
"Okie" potato wedges
Bake one or more potatoes about ½ done. Cut into 4 or 6 wedges,
Coat with butter or margarine. Sprinkle with mix of ½ rib rub and ½
chicken rub. Bake at 350° until tender and golden brown.
